where is the dishwasher?

On days when I look over at the sink, and it looks like this, I REALLY wish I had a dishwasher.

How young is too young to have kids start washing dishes?  HA!

I don't know. My son is almost 17, and he still hasn't mastered washing dishes. He may be lousy at it, or it may be the sneaky male way of doing a crappy job at something so that a woman doesn't ask you to do it again. It's probably the latter.

LOL! That is boys for you! My girls are so young, as you know. My oldest, Bella, wants to do everything. I will be ready for the day she is old enough to do them solo! By then she will probably not be interested in doing them anymore.

Oh no! My daughter is 9 and when she wants to, she can wash dishes and clean anythings perfectly fine but, catch her on her lazy day and it is all half done: food on plates, greasy pans, cup rings, sticky counter tops, you name it! She started washing dishes solo when she was 7 but, then all it involved was pre-rinsing, loading the dishwasher, wiping the countertops, and sweeping. Now my son, who is 8, that is another story, he is still learning but, he does try!
